Gordon Smith, P. E.
As Executive Director, Gordon is responsible for the overall activities, programs, and staff of the Association. He works directly with the Board of Directors, the Business Committee, the Convention Committee, the Executive Committee, the Nominating Committee, and the Scholarship Sub-Committee.
Director of Training and Outreach
Jerry Woods
As Director of Training and Outreach, Jerry coordinates the IRMCAs extensive involvement with educational offerings in conjunction with Iowas community colleges, high schools, and ACI chapter. Jerry also organizes the Associations delivery of Box Lunch programs to consulting and engineering firms. He is the staff representative to the Safety Committee
Regional Services Manager
Thomas Parsons
Thomas serves the Association as a Regional Services Manager. In his role with IRMCA, Thomas works with producers and their customers on concrete issues throughout western Iowa. He is also the instructor for the ACI Field Testing Certification class. His work includes outreach to Iowa municipalities and he is the key staff contact with Iowa counties, consultants, engineers, architects, and builders. Thomas is the staff representative to the Technical Committee
Administrative/Communications Assistant
Shana Davison
Shana administrative/communications support and coordination for activities of the Association. She has an active role in planning and organizing events and meetings by designing promotional materials, coordinating with meeting facilities and overseeing the details of the event or meeting. She is also responsible for the design and maintenance of the IRMCA website and processes accounts payable for the Association. Shana serves as a resource to the Convention, Membership, Plae Dae, Promotion, Iowa State Fair "All Things Concrete", Technical, Safety, and Political Awareness Committees
Associate Director
John Cunningham
John's role as Associate Director includes providing support as needed to the Executive Director with a special emphasis on concrete promotion. Along with promotion, John is heavily involved with issues related to concrete pavements. John is the staff coordinator of the Association's political initiatives.
Regional Services Manager
Steve Mallicoat
As Regional Services Manager for IRMCA, Steve works with concrete issues throughout eastern Iowa. Steve also coordinates pervious concrete contractor training and related NRMCA certification examinations. In the field, Steve provides outreach and technical support to consulting engineers, architects, contractors and ready mixed concrete producers. He is the staff representative to the Environmental Sub-Committee, the Plae Dae Committee, the Promotion Committee, and the Iowa State Fair All Things Concrete Sub-Committee
Fiscal/Administrative Manager
Julie Harbert
Julie's responsibilities as the Fiscal/Administrative Manager include administering all accounting activities and financial reporting, as well as coordinating personnel benefits and policies. Julie also serves as a resource to the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, the Nominating Committee, the Scholarship Sub-Committee, and the Annual Business Meeting of the membership
Administrative Assistant
Natalie Sipes
Natalie provides overall administrative assistance to the Association. She prepares and distributes the bi-weekly DRUM newsletter and the annual Parking Lot Survey. She also assists the Director of Training & Outreach in the coordination of Box Lunches and ACI Certification classes. In addition, Natalie coordinates the Driver Safety Awards for IRMCA's Annual Convention
